Whereas some of the KL cafes are obsessed with latte art, others focus on being theatrical with their food. In the case of VCR, thankfully such elaborate plates — like this soft-shell crab burger, which I had for breakfast (?!) — are also very delicious.
Note that many of VCR’s dishes come with an egg sunny side up. And while I often love that, I found it better to specify over easy. If you’re picky about your eggs, trust me.
Also, the coffee here is great. Get it.
